I thank you for your grace, your mercy and the undeserved favor you have shown me throughout this last year. Lord, I pray for continued blessings in the year to come. I don’t know what your plan is, but I do know that you’re faithful Lord. You said in Your Word that you would “give unto them beauty for ashes.” Today, in this prayer, I lay before you all of our grief, our heartbreak and our ashes, Lord.
I ask that you take them all away and bestow upon us the most beautiful and blessed year ahead. In Your Word, you said you heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds.
